The entry fee for the 2026 Santa Fe 500 is $1950. Entry includes 4 nights of accommodations, entry into the Sunday reception, breakfast on Monday morning launch, reception in Durango, Farewell Dinner, Santa Fe 500-branded merchandise, and additional surprise goodies and activities. Co-drivers may be added for an additional $300.

Santa Fe 500 is currently open to all makes and generations of automobile.

While there is no vehicle requirement, applicants are encouraged to bring a vehicle that is comfortable at distance and yet fun to drive on the scenic back roads that are hand-selected by the Santa Fe 500.

There is no “best car”, so participants are encouraged to bring their favorite driver for a fun week of exploring the back roads of New Mexico and Colorado.

No one under the age of 18 may be a primary registrant. Children under the age of 18 may participate if accompanied by parent or guardian.

Participants of the Santa Fe 500 must have an active driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance.

If any participant is deemed to be unsafe and reckless either on or off the road at the sole discretion of the Event Organizers, it will result in immediate expulsion from the Santa Fe 500 group.

Additional participants beyond a driver and co-driver may be added to your entry. For all purposes, they are considered standard registrants. Additions will receive Santa Fe 500 gear and entry into all scheduled events. The cost for any additional participants beyond driver and co-driver is $620

Participants may cancel in full until Friday August 15. Partial refunds may be issued after August 15, 2025, depending on conditions.

Cancellations at the hotels MUST be made 30 days prior to the event, August 28, 2026.
